Located just north of the Demere Rd. round-a-bout in Redfern Village, in the heart of St. Simons Island, we offer a full bar, a wide selection of appetizers and seafood with an extensive raw bar and feature a pristine marsh view. Oyster offerings rotate from aquacultures up & down the East Coast, and are available raw or steamed as well as stuffed & baked. Meat eaters fear not! We offer a Filet, NY Strip and Pork Ribeye that will compete with any steakhouse in the area. Enjoy cocktails & appetizers and enjoy the marsh view from the lounge on our back porch!Notable appetizers include the Raw Oysters (of course!), Old Bay Chicken Wings, Drunken Clams and Southern Crab Dip. You can also, graze on a Double Cheeseburger, Po' Boy or Fish Tacos. For dinner, Chef Ben's Special of the Day usually takes top billing, but the Seared Scallops with Tasso Cream and Shrimp & Grits with Red Eye Gravy are popular too. However, the Seared Pork Ribeye with Guajillo Butter is an unsuspecting hit!

We were celebrating Thanksgiviving with family. As we were not from this area we had no idea what to expect. We were so surprised when we arrived. The entrance was decorated with multiple Christmas trees surrounded by beautiful decorations everywhere. The fire in the fireplace was roaring and the player piano wads playing Holiday songs. The food was impeccable but what made the evening special was the “Southern hospitality” everyone shown us. No one was more delightful than Rebecca our server. She was so sweet and seemed to know what we always needed. The evening was just perfect.

Our first time at Dorothy’s. Our reservations were for 6:45 but we didn’t get seated until about 7:15. Fortunately there were seats at the bar and we ordered some wine. The place is very loud and crowded. The tables are really close together so if you’re looking for something romantic or wanting to have a private conversation it’s a no go. This all being said, the food is delicious! We ordered several different small plates to share and to try a variety of dishes and they were all excellent. The wine, while pricey was also excellent! We will definitely return.

This was our first time at Georgia Sea Grill based on reviews I have read we had very high expectations coming from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where fresh seafood is abundant. We are a little hard to please when it comes to seafood, however, Georgia sea grill did not disappoint. Amazing fresh fish, we had oysters that were amazing for appetizer. We had the fish dip we had the crab that I absolutely loved. We both got fresh fish dishes, and then a Keylime tart for dessert was wonderful. The service was timely and impeccable. We will definitely be back.

This restaurant consistently has great food and service. Excellent selection of diverse menu items and price points. We shared a cup of blue crab bisque and caesar salad. Both were perfectly prepared with great flavors. Soup was rich and salad nicely dressed. We had the shrimp and grits (lots of sweet shrimp!) and the special grouper on bed of guinoa with mixture of butternut squash, zucchini mixed in. A light sauce on top of fish with red pepper pesto. Grouper pan-sautéd perfectly. Both entrées were good sized portions. Service is personable and timely. We would like to try other restaurants in the area, but always come back to Halyards.

This was our first time at this restaurant and we had brunch on a beautiful Sunday October afternoon. We sat on the top balcony and it was amazing. Food was really good and our waitress was awesome! Will definitely be back for dinner.
