We had an amazing meal at the village bakery and cafe. The service is perfect . The food is hearty delicious and top quality. The beef in the burger is the best I’ve tasted . You won’t be disapointed . The staff is friendly helpful and professional.

Three of us had a lovely birthday celebration for a lady friend. The RH Rooftop Restaurant was the perfect place in a lovely and elegant setting. The service provided by Isabella was discreet, efficient and not overbearing. We all ordered the chicken salad that had pieces of grilled chicken in it. The dressing was bit too vinegary, but the salad was good. We shared an order of crisp fries. The meal ended with a candle and warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie as a special treat for the birthday girl. We would definitely go back again, and not just for a special celebration. As we were leaving, Isabelle asked if we’d like to have our picture taken. She suggested posing in front of the beautiful fountain located in the center of the restaurant. It was such a thoughtful gesture, we now have a fond photo memory of our birthday luncheon.

This is the place to go for a very special evening out. We like the glassed-in Forest Room which has a great view of the beautiful redwood grove. The choices on the pre fixe menu are all delicious and the ambience can't be beat. The only thing I wish could be improved is that, due to the hard surfaces of the glass and walls, it gets a bit loud in there with all the people talking and the music playing. It can be a little challenging if you are hard of hearing and/or need to wear hearing aids. In spite of that, you can't beat the food and the setting!

Lasagna was fantastic. Not something I would usually order but it looked interesting on the adjacent table. Large helping was sitting in delicious sauce with sausage and cheese. Really outstanding taste. The stuffed pork chop was tender and juicy, cooked just right, surrounded with vegetables and mashed potatoes. Vegetables were crisp, not overcooked. Dessert was the lemon parfait, a mountain of sweet meringue on top of tart lemon sorbet for a tasty combination of sweet and tart tastes. The tables were spaced nicely so we didn’t feel cramped and the servers were all pleasant and attentive. Just a great dining experience.

We love the Village Pub. We are loyal guests coming for 15 years. And though we moved away, we make sure we have dinner here whenever we get back to the bay. Dinner and service last night was top notch again. The duck was phenomenal and so was the truffle stuffed chicken. Followed by the always delicious chocolate soufflé and the beignets. Can’t wait to come back
