Havana has been committed to serving local and organic meats, produce and seafood since it opened 25 years ago. All of our meats are “naturally raised” meaning no steroids, antibiotics or hormones and “humanely raised” meaning room to roam, proper shelter and gentle handling. We make every effort to buy only sustainably harvested seafood, primarily from the Gulf of Maine. We have consistently searched out New England farmers and fisherfolk to purchase product that is not only great tasting but great for the environment and local economy as well.

Jordan Pond House, a restaurant and shop with a long tradition within Acadia National Park, sits on a hill overlooking a beautiful lawn along the Jordan Pond. Guests have been enjoying these amazing views and dining at this site since 1893 when Nellie McIntire, the first proprietor, started baking and serving her famous popovers out of the restaurant. Ever since then, we have been serving popovers and tea.Please note: Reservations may be made for inside dining only. Due to weather variability, we are unable to accommodate reservations for the lawn.     **Fantastic Food and Service!** We had dinner at Havana and were thoroughly impressed with our experience. My wife enjoyed the seafood paella, while I opted for the pork chop dish. Another guest had the shrimp appetizer and salad, and one ordered the duck. Each dish was beautifully prepared with fresh, local ingredients and packed with flavor. The seafood paella was among the best I've ever tasted, and the pork chop came with a delicious broth-based sauce, turnip greens, chickpeas, and local vegetables. The highlight of our evening was our server, Harley. His positive attitude and keen attention to detail made our dining experience exceptional. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the attentive service throughout our meal, we felt feeling appreciated and full! I highly recommend Havana! Enjoy your visit—you won't be disappointed!

    It took a month to get in and it was worth it. I had frequented the pond house when I was young (35 yrs ago) and I had been wanting to get back. It was as good as I remember. Staff got us in earlier than our reservation time, waitstaff were friendly and welcoming and the popovers and jam are the best I’ve had! Definitely worth the visit/experience.
