Hamrock's Restaurant is located within the Moore-McCandlish House (built 1842) in the heart of historic Fairfax City. We've been proud to serve delicious made-to-order American dishes using fresh ingredients since our establishment in 2016. We also have a wonderful hand-selected wine list to enhance your dining experience. Approximately eighty-percent of our menu is-- or can be-- gluten-free, as we use only canola and olive oil in all of our cooking. Some of our best-selling dishes are our southern fried chicken, grilled meatloaf, and crab cakes-- all which are gluten free! Other menu favorites include our deviled eggs, firecracker shrimp, Atlantic grilled salmon, roasted pork tenderloin, and penne pasta with andouille sausage & shrimp. We have beautiful year-round outdoor seating options on our wrap around porch (we have heaters!) In the warmer months, we also open our courtyard. We had a wonderful experience at Trummers in the beautiful Wine Room with our extended family for an anniversary celebration. Our waiter, John, was the epitome of excellence in service and culinary knowledge. And we enjoyed meeting the Trummers themselves! They are passionate and accomplished restauranteurs. We highly recommend Trummers!

Outstanding French cuisine at a price commensurate with the quality and portion size of the food. Our reservation allowed us to be seated immediately, the service was superb (we have a favorite waiter), the meal was unhurried and delightful. This is a first class restaurant. Do not expect to be rushed while dining nor for the cost of excellence to be cheap. A great place for a special evening.
