Sol Mar was wonderful! Definitely packed on Valentine’s Day. The food was good, could’ve used a bit more salt and some more sauce, but was still yummy. Desserts were absolutely delicious and the sangria was to die for! The servers were great and attentive despite the busy night. The atmosphere was very warm and we loved the decor. We will definitely be coming back!

Great experience! Food was good and the service was good. The hostess seemed a bit overwhelmed by the traffic of people arriving but the manager did a good job seating people.

Julia, the lady in pink. the man with the beard, the man with the glasses, (apologies for not remembering your names, but want to know you were greatly appreciated) and the Gauchos made for a WONDERFUL experience. The food was absolutely delicious, it was well seasoned, fresh, and the proper temperature. The foods offered, oh my!!! The sirloin, sausages, chicken, lamb, etc. Really loved each had their own distinct flavor. The salad bar was so amazing. I was afraid I was going to fill up on the seafood salad, rice and beans, the okra dish, and the other offerings. And don't forget the Caipirinhas, and dessert!! Valet parking, an added plus!! We live in Mercer County but will return to the Newark location very very soon!!!!
