We personally know the head chef, Rick Larsen. Rick was off that day, but the whole staff was exceptional, including our waitress Megan. Clearly a well run and cohesive operation. It was truly the bright spot of our short stay in the "sweetest place on earth."

Food was fabulous! Service was excellent. Value was spot on. We were having dinner with our Granddaughter and her boyfriend for the first time together with us. Unfortunately we were seated next to a large group that appeared to be a Christmas party. They were having a GOOD time. I would definitely return again, maybe just not during the Holidays.

Prompt and professional service. Comfortable banquette seating. Knowledgable wait staff. Food was very good. All 4 of us had seafood dishes which ranged from good to outstanding. Overall an excellent experience.

This was our first time at Salute and I honestly have to say that this is a hidden gem in Berks County. We were here for our 29th anniversary and the owner Giovanni our hostess Stevie and his team went above and beyond to make us feel at home and welcomed.  From the drinks to the appetizers to the main entrees and the desserts (we had 4 different desserts lol) Everything was spot on amazing.  A simple fettuccine Alfredo was the best Alfredo we have ever had in our lives. The chicken Marsala  was perfect. The chicken was like butter, fork, tender, and the mushroom sauce was to die for.  The mussels were absolutely amazing and the broth in the mussels were to die for.  I was mopping up the broth from the mussels with the beautiful Crostinis they gave us.  I can’t believe that we’ve been in Berks County all our lives and had not known about Salute.  Kudos to Giovanni and his team. They were absolutely amazing. We will definitely be returning!!
