Restaurants near Red Roof Inn Hilton Head Island

First visit to Coastal Capri Ristorante tonight, invited another couple to join us. Food was outstanding and we all enjoyed our choices very much, which were Veal Parmisiana, Lasagna, Pappardelle Bolognese, and Linguini with Clams. Everything was prepared perfectly. Service was impeccable-----everything served hot and at the same time. Nice wine list, too. We didn't order dessert because the food portions were very generous, so as a gift they brought us two cannoli for dessert (thank you!). We had reservations early at 5:15pm, but by 6:00pm it was crowded and I can see why. Everyone seemed to be jovial, laughing, and having a good time. That's the Italian way, right? The co-owner wife was awesome as she welcomed us on arrival, and she checked on us during the meal, and was very appreciative for our being there as evidenced by her most gracious and kind words as we were leaving. I assured her that we would be back whenever we were at HH. It was a most cozy, enjoyable, and relaxed evening. Kudos to the other co-owner/Chef and to the entire staff. And welcome to Hilton Head!!!

Food was excellent. Being a slow time of the year we were still very pleased with our server, Delaney (not 100%sure if I got it correct) great service, food was excellent atmosphere perfect. We were visiting with our granddaughter and spouse and they loved everything ! Thx

We were unable to reserve a table inside and instead reserved a table outside for the first time. We and our out of town guests enjoyed the food, service and ambiance. Outside seating is quieter than inside and we ere able to enjoy our conversation as well as our excellent food.

My husband ordered the duck & he said his was cooked perfectly - medium rare. The scalloped potatoes & veggies (green beans & carrots) were also delicious. He cleaned his plate. I had the smoked salmon appetizer which was good, not much different than what can be found in Costco or ordering online - it came with a lovely horseradish & dill sauce. I also had the crab, avocado appetizer which was more interesting. We had an early reservation which is what I prefer to eating later, but there were people waiting by the time we left around 6:30.

We've eaten at Nectar many times for breakfast, but was disappointed with the dinner menu, I expected more dishes to be available.
