McEwens was fantastic! The steak & toast appetizer was delicious and I highly recommend it. The Tuscan fettuccine entree was fabulous and so different than any pasta I’ve had before. Would love to have ordered one of their desserts but we were so full. The service was stellar and the ambiance was so cozy and comfortable. The perfect place for a date night!

Snackbar is, by far, the best restaurant in Oxford and is on our list of the best places we’ve been in the last few years. Stellar service (especially Johnny—an Oxford treasure), amazing bar program, and extraordinary food. Can’t say enough about it.

There were four of us instead of six. The manager received my text with the updated headcount and responded promptly. We were seated at a four-top and were able to easily chat with each other. My salmon was exceptional. One of my guests chose the shaved Brussels sprouts salad, and the other two ordered the crawfish sandwich. Both of the gals with the crawfish were not impressed. It was dry and overdone. I think they expected a smaller crawfish cake similar to a crabcake. I don't believe we would order this dish a second time. I would order the salmon again. It was cooked perfectly, and the flavorful sauce and side vegetables were fresh and tasty.
