- CChristopherWarwickshire •2 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoWell what a lovely hidden gem. We have been to this country pub several times and it never disappoints. Outside there is a lovely pond with ducks and seating with tables brilliant for a summer evening drink, today however we sat inside and ordered from the festive menu, both of our meals were really good, I had the slow cooked beek, absolutly delicious one of the best piecies of beef I have had the sauce the whole plate of food was wonderful. All of the staff were really nice and friendly lovely to have a chat and feel so welcolme. We were one of the first people there so not sure if the heating was still catching up it could have done with being a bit warmere in the room. Were already planning to take friends in the new year.More infoThe Rose InnPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Atherstone•4.5

- KKarenStaffordshire •1 review5.0Dined on 12 Dec 2024As usual the food was lovely and plentiful. One small personal issue is the chicken lacked some flavour and held oil and ribs could have been cooked for longer. My partners mixed grill was cooked as asked and fat removed from meats as requested. There was plenty thereMore infoThe Malt ShovelPrice: Moderate• British• Atherstone•4.6
