Restaurants near Portola City Park

This was our first visit to this restaurant. We had terrific service. The food was outstanding. We will return

I was wearing black blouse tonight. My napkin was white. A gentleman brought me a black napkin. He said that the black napkin is matching my outfit. I thoroughly uplifted by the outstanding service here - it is a paradigm of excellence that sets a new benchmark.

Great cocktails, steaks and desserts. The seafood entrees are wonderful. This time I enjoyed the lobster bisque and seafood pan roast. There is a nice selection of wines by the glass as well. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Our server, Blair, was great!!

We went on Christmas Eve and the restaurant was nicely decorated and everybody working was so nice and festive. We were grateful for their work on a holiday. We will be back!

We had a terrific meal in a refined, cozy, and quiet dining room. There was a fire in the central fireplace, a view over the snow covered golf course, and the food was excellent. 2 of us shared a starter of grilled octopus, my wife had beef stroganoff, and I had prime rib, accompanied by a Nero d’Avola from Sicily. Although the room was nearly full, it was pleasantly quiet which was relaxing and made it easy to talk Our server, Michael, is outstanding! He is pleasant, attentive, and very knowledgeable about both the food and the wine list. He has taken care of us before and always makes dinner at the Lodge a great experience.
