Chef Eugenia Hobson and her team prepare authentic Greek dishes served attentively in a breezy Aegean-inspired atmosphere. Carnegie Diner & Café offers limited reservations 30% only and 70% walk in. We are brand new and we like to accommodate all of you. Carnegie Diner features an extensive all-day breakfast menu in addition to serving a wide selection of salads, burgers, sandwiches, entrees, steaks, fresh fish, pastas, desserts and more. All day breakfast items include a Classic Benedict with optional addition of lobster, Avocado Toast, a BLT Quinoa Bowl with chopped bacon and poached eggs, Steak and Eggs, and three eggs any style served with hash browns and bread. There are a dozen types of pancakes, decadent waffles and French Toast offered. The restaurant also features a full page of plant-based options.     Ali was our server and he was amazing. On a rainy raw day his suggestion for the hot specialty tea was brilliant (and friend thought it was too and happily had one). The basil, honey and ginger was perfect!

    2941 is not only one of the best restaurants in Falls Church, it is one of the best restaurants in the DMV. The food and service are both always beyond compare and last night was no exception. The Tuna Tartare appetizer is wonderful and our main courses--Ribeye and Duck--were both cooked to perfection. The only minor suggestion I would have relates to my Caesar Salad appetizer. It was more or less a deconstructed salad. While it was visually appealing and delicious, I prefer my salads (including Caesar) to be mixed. Our server (Julio) and his staff were great and the restaurant took pains to recognize our anniversary with a special menu and dessert. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
