We had a great night at Mission Bistro. The food—bread service, crab cakes, and spicy mussels apps, swordfish and bouillabaisse mains—was outstanding. The mussels were among the best I have had anywhere. The portions were very large. The service was helpful and attentive, but not intrusive. It was very quiet on a Saturday night, though I forget how early diners eat in Carmel. We definitely will return on our next visit to Carmel.

Wonderful evening….so nice to enjoy it all, the food was excellent, the scallops were light delicate and tasty, just wish we had more than 4. We paired with the carbonara, which was very nice. They added mushrooms which actually was a nice not strong addition. The ambience was lovely, relaxing and the noise levels were low, we could actually have a quiet conversation. Strolling guitar was a nice touch too

Got away for Thanksgiving. While they offered a traditional Thanksgiving meal, we ordered lamb kebobs off the menu. If you're not starving, it's enough for two people. They were delicious!! Came with Greek salad and rice; onions and tomatoes on 2 skewers along with 3 very large pieces of lamb on each skewer. SO MUCH FUN with Greek music (people got up, clapped, danced a bit). Next time, we're sharing an appetizer and sharing a main. Complimentary "bite" of baklava after dinner. It is VERY noisy when the music is played (stringed instruments, drums, voices), but moderate noise otherwise. Very lively!!

Thank you Christian for such a wonderful dinner experience on our anniversary vacation at Anton & Michel. You were an excellent Maitre D’ Hotel just like our old friend Luiz of past years! David was a very friendly and professional server! The french onion soup was made to perfection and the short rib dish was one of the best I have ever had! To round off the evening, David prepared one of the best cherries jubilee ever! Thanks again for a memorable 5 star dining experience!

Beautiful place, kind and welcoming service, gorgeous and tasty food. Salmon tartare on crispy rice was particularly memorable.
