The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed.     Our family enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving this year at the Desmonde. Everyone from my 91yo Mom to my vegan 25yo neice and all the rest of us really enjoyed the food. The price was reasonable and it was so nice this year to skip the grocery shopping, housecleaning, table setting, food prepping & cooking and especially the cleanup at my home like all the years before. We all said we would do it again.

    Everything was perfect from the moment we walked in. I was greeted with birthday wishes at the host station even though no one in my group had told them it was my birthday. Patrick was our server and he did everything right. He was very attentive. My husband and I were splitting 2 entrees and the kitchen staff made us 2 separate plates! And Patrick brought me a cup of ice cream with Jimmies and a candle at the end of our meal. Overall, a wonderful experience.

    I am concerned that my credit card was not charged for the total amount including the tip. I called and was told the tip would be charged to my card in several days. That does not seem appropriate.
