Mike is a Sandpoint native and most recently served as Executive Chef at 41 South. Under his leadership, 41 South was consistently voted as one of the best restaurants in Sandpoint. Mike learned his craft at the Seattle Culinary Academy earning an Associates of Culinary Arts degree in 2008.     We were at the Red Lobster on New Years Day and were the first table to be filled. Our waitress ( I wish to God I could remember her name) was absolutely wonderful going above and beyond to make our lunch wonderful. All 4 of our party was very satisfied with the quality of the food, the timeliness of being served. The restaurant was ultra clean even after the New Years Eve celebrations. The prices were fair. I will be back soon and absolutely recommend CDA Red Lobster if you enjoy sea food!

    My wife and I have been dining at this restaurant every year on Christmas eve for 15 years. Most years our entire dining experience was great, which always left us with high expectations for our next visit. There were some years it was not great at all. This year it was exceptional, the best ever. They can get so busy this day of the year, an early dining time is probably helpful. My dining "experience" includes everything, from ease of reservations, to check in, wait time for a table, table selection, wait time for a server, wait time for orders to arrive, ambiance, noise levels, decor, and of course server skills and attentiveness, food and drink quality and presentation, all in a comfortable setting. Our experience, on possibly their busiest day of the year, was outstanding.

    Connor and his team provided a wonderful evening, delicious food (especially loved the ahi tuna stack and his take on Florentines! So fun meeting new people and enjoying great conversations! And I loved being “pushed up to the table”! Can’t wait to visit again now that we are “cousins”!

    This was our second time enjoying a wonderful dinner at Taverna. We opted to try their Wednesday pasta night special and it was absolutely delicious and such a great value. Service and ambiance again were outstanding. Perfect Gem of a place in beautiful Bayview. Don’t sleep on winter season, now is the time to enjoy a great dinner destination with an even better view.
