Service from Ryan and Madison was great. Food was meh. Really not great. Ribs bland and dry. Caesar salad with chicken just ok.

The Keg Pointe Claire is a large nicely appointed restaurant. We arrived at 4 and were on our way out by 6. We did not feel rushed, the service was attentive and professional. The two of us sat in a lovely booth, as requested, which is much more private and quieter than being in the middle of the restaurant. We both ate the Classic Prime Rib, with twice baked potato, Keg Caesar salad, mushrooms and onions. My piece of meat(which was medium rare) I found chewy and when I was asked by the server I said so, which is unusual for me. The next time I looked up the restaurant manager was at my side and he swiftly took my plate and brought me back a completely new one, in less than 5 minutes. This time the meat was so tender it was amazing! We don't always find this level of service these days but I was very pleasantly surprised that someone actually listened to me and wanted me to have the best experience in their restaurant. BRAVO!!!!

Great restaurant; food, ambiance and service. We were 6. Especially the waitress - very tall girl. And really sweet busboy Natan. They were very attentive. Music got loud at 9:15 am. We were hoping it would be later. But we still managed to hear one another. Food portions were good except Fettuccine with mushrooms was a bit pricey - for the portion size. Calamari was one of the best we ever had. Light and crispy. Caesar salad was very tasty and pizzas were authentic and delicious . All in all great experience. Parked outside for free. Or parking in the hotel for 2 hours free once you get ticket stamped. $4 extra afterwards. Highly recommend going - no need to fight traffic and difficult parking to get the trendy Griffintown vibe in Laval !

As always, Chef Richard Tate out did himself, as he and his staff put together a wine-pairing tasting menu that was a veritable taste explosion. From the creamy corn bisque starter, blackened catfish, shrimp & grits, duck & chorizo gumbo right through to the banana creme brulee, every bite was a mouthgasm of delight. Paired with interesting wines presented by a sommelier, this was a wonderful way to spend a few hours on a Wednesday night. Of course, we hung out with co-owner Chris who was taking care of us behind the bar, and we were served impeccably, as usual, by the dashing Matt (ladies, he's ALL sorts of single now!). Listen, if you haven't experienced Bistro Nolah yet, do your tastebuds a favour and get there NOW. You will not be disappointed. Oh, and if brunch is more your thing, their weekend menu is to die for...fried chicken & french toast, anyone? Lordy, I'm already salivating! We can't wait to go back!!
