Jack Timmons grew up in Texas and has lived in Seattle for over three decades. In 2012, he attended BBQ Summer Camp at the Meat Sciences department of Texas A&M, then toured many historic barbecue temples of Central Texas. Returning to Seattle, he bought an offset smoker, imported some post oak, mesquite and hickory, and started the Seattle Brisket Experience.After more than a year of practicing the art of barbecue, and serving old-school, succulent smoked meats to thousands of Northwest BBQ fans at ‘BBQ Raves’, Jack opened his first restaurant in the South of Downtown (SoDo) area of Seattle – Jack’s BBQ in 2014.At our newest location on the border of Bellevue and Redmond, we serve authentic Central Texas Barbecue with Brisket, Ribs, Sausage and Chicken. This was our first time dining at Daniel's Broiler and we couldn't have been happier. My husband and I celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary and everything from the cocktails to appetizer to dinner and dessert was absolutely delicious. Furthermore, we enjoyed the staff who were friendly, helpful and attentive. We requested a view or special table and had a beautiful view of downtown Bellevue where the street trees were illuminated with their white lights. We look forward to celebrating another special occasion at Daniel's Broiler!

For the PNW area this is a pretty good BBQ joint. I am from North Carolina and had a Dallas person on our table and we both agreed the food was pretty good and the real thing. Service was a bit spotty. Our server was nice, but they were not appropriately staffed on a Wednesday. If you are looking for good BBQ at good prices, this is a good place to visit.
