- RRobertaNew Mexico •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe recently celebrated our son’s 12th birthday at Geronimo, one of his favorite spots in Santa Fe. As always, the ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. Geronimo truly knows how to make every occasion feel special. The food, as expected, was beautifully prepared and delicious. However, we couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed by some of the recent changes to the menu. One of my go-to dishes, the beef tenderloin, now comes with couscous instead of the beloved potato terrine. While I tried the couscous on a previous visit (August 2024) I was sad to see it was still on the menu. It was not to my liking, I really missed the rich, comforting layers of the terrine that used to complete the dish so perfectly. We were also a bit let down to see that some of our favorite starters, like the beef carpaccio, had disappeared from the menu. That said, Geronimo remains a gem in Santa Fe’s dining scene. The quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff continue to impress, and the night still felt special for our birthday boy. We’ll certainly be back, hoping to see a few of those favorites return or to discover new ones that capture our hearts just the same.More infoGeronimoPrice: Very Expensive• Fusion / Eclectic• Santa Fe•4.9
