- CCourtenayIndiana •10 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoGreat food, service and ambience. I had salmon and it was perfectly cooked. Our group also had the always favorite boar bolognese and the pork cheeks. Everyone loved their meal and we topped it off with the delicious coffee and donuts dessert.More infoMeridianPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Broad Ripple / Meridian - Kessler•4.6
- AAleesiaVIPIndiana •46 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoLovely brunch surprise with D.F. (It was his spur of the moment idea!) He got his usual chicken and waffles breakfast while I took in the delicious short rib risotto. A view of the beautiful churning of the reservoir in wintry weather and being nicely taken care of by the always suave Mr. Lonnie made for a wonderful after-church meal.More infoRick's Cafe BoatyardPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Pike Township•4.6
- NNealIndiana •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis is such a unique and elegant experience. Book a table, put on some nice clothes, and make the drive. From the time you turn into the drive that takes you through the manicured grounds flanked by sculptures to the door of the estate that houses RH, you are transported to one of the most lovely places in Indy. The store itself covers every room with beautiful RH furniture, but the restaurant is spectacular. The menu has everything including different caviar service as well as a modern brunch service with expertly crafted drinks, espresso, and two types of freshly pressed juice drinks. The impossibly thin pancakes and their black Forrest bacon was unlike I’ve had anywhere. My wife had the avocado toast which was very hearty yet light with pickled onions and a salad of parsley and dill. We can’t wait to come back and see the handsome views (not to mention the outdoor furniture) in person when the weather is warmer. - KKristinIndiana •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food was delicious, and the pacing was on point—we didn’t have any stacking of courses (despite it being V-day weekend). The French onion soup was rich and deeply flavored, and we were surprised to learn it was made with a vegetable broth. The prime rib wontons were delicious and balanced, the pork Wellington was a yummy surprise, and the trout with its creamy risotto tower was unique and rewarding. The cocktail list leans heavy to bourbon and whiskey, but the gin cocktail I had was tart and refreshing and perfect. We were a little underwhelmed by the ports, but they were a good value, so we can’t really quibble. Overall, a very delightful experience from start to finish.More infoOAKLEYS bistroPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• NW Indy / Zionsville•4.9
- CChrisSan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoIt had been over half a decade since we’d been to Traders Point, but after seeing their Valentine’s Day menu, we decided it was worth making a Valentine’s Day mini weekend of it. The Harpist music was subtle enough for background, but loud enough to enjoy. Once we realized she was playing pop music songs, we enjoyed guessing them. We ordered the Valentine’s Day Flight half because my wife wanted to see how they were garnished. She really like the bold orange elder flower mimosa and lemon lavender French 75. Will try and recreate at home, you can se me the garnishes in pictures. Orange peel opened up like a rose bud in the Negroni. I had their Honey Bunch (take on a manhattan), pecans work well with Bourbon and honey, who knew? Pecan crumble garnish made it festive and change the taste. And then a Feisty Cabernet Sauvignon to go with dinner. We added a cheese and meat charcuterie board to accompany the meal. Favorite was a goat cheese from California that had Moon in the name of the creamery, we are calling to see if we can be reminded of the creamery. Their own award winning cheese was very good as well. We happily finished everything in the board. We both really like my wife’s crab stuffed shrimp starter. I had meatballs that were a little undercooked in the middle for wife’s preference, but I was quite happy. We are on opposite ends of the cooking temperature spectrum. We were both really happy with our mains. Porkchop with spiced seeet potato swisschard for her and filet with added blue cheese whipped potato brussel sprouts for me. Don’t sleep on the Ice Cream Sundae. It’s a creamery. With house made toffee crumble. Best sundae ever. She liked her cherry chocalate cheesecake, but brought most of it home. And of course on the way out, bought 2 bottles of chocolate milk to take home to the kids. If you are from out of town, always bring a cooler to Traders Point.More infoThe Loft at Traders PointPrice: Expensive• Organic• NW Indy / Zionsville•4.7
