Restaurants near Norris Ranger Station

Some things are worth the splurge and Cortina is one of them. Located in the Montage Hotel, the restaurant is fabulous by every measure - food, service, and atmosphere. We were celebrating my birthday and I am so happy we chose Cortina. I had the petite filet which was spectacular especially when paired with a side of crispy potatoes (quite possibly the best vegetable side on the planet - try them and tell me I’m wrong). My husband ordered a cake through the Montage bakery and it was as delicious as it was beautiful. Thanks to the Cortina team for making my birthday so memorable.

Wild Caddis is in the beautiful rainbow ranch. If you want to see a top notch Montana resort please visit here. You might see a moose or 2 grazing at the river. They have different dining areas so you are never bored with the view. In the summer you can sit outside. The food and drinks are high quality offering many choices from apps to desserts. Our service was fantastic!! Izzy was polite, sweet, attentive and adorable. She checked in on us often, but not pushy The food had wonderful flavors and tasted great. My steak was great flavor with blue cheese baked on top. But it was not hot and overcooked. I asked for medium rare, but was barely pink. My mother in law enjoyed her trout tremendously. My husband enjoyed his elk medallions they were very tender. Unfortunately none of our meals was super hot. It was pretty pricey but expected
