Restaurants near New Amsterdam Theater

We watched the Thanksgiving parade today and since it finished earlier than we thought, we showed up almost an hour early for our reservation. But they were able to work something out to take us in. They sat us in the basement of the restaurant, like their cellar since the walls were filled with unopened wine bottles. The ambiance was still good and the noise level was much quieter, too than the main dining area. We ordered a pitcher of sangria, grilled octopus for appetizers, seafood with black pasta and Tony's veal for our main entrees and affogato and tiramisu with coffee for dessert. We were very happy and satisfied with our food. They were all excellently prepared like we expected. Will definitely keep coming back! Tony's is one of our favorite restaurants to go to in NYC. Service was also superb!

I spoke with the manager, who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, ensuring we had everything we needed for a great experience. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for our gathering. I highly recommend Carmine's on 44th for its fantastic food and outstanding service!
