In 1914, the Biltmore opened and served up breakfast and brew at 7AM for the overnight crews from nearby factories. It came with a 4 lane basement bowling alley that was a local hangout for decades.There was talk of a speakeasy during prohibition. The Biltmore was across the street from a regional rail stop and often hosted private events for dignitaries, politicians and celebrities.Much of original brick front and interior has remained the same over the many reincarnations of this legendary bar. The original old growth wood flooring has stood up to many timeless celebrations as well. I love this restaurant. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The food is good & the casual atmosphere is very comfortable. The deviled eggs & baked haddock are very good as well.

We had an awesome burger. This is the second time we’ve been there and both times we ordered the burger. I like you can order a salad instead of French fries if you’re trying to be a little bit healthier. The other entrees look great too. The our server was outstanding. She was helpful and friendly.
