The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times. Firstly a thank you to Chef! All The food is absolutely delicious, but I want to mention a few dishes in particular. I had the mushroom bake for starter you got so much flavour into the dish it was delicious. The gluten free bread that you served alongside the dishes was the best my friend had tasted and the sauce on the pork was so rich and yummy ! Master chef here you come !! Next the service. Attentive, happy, caring staff who really did all they could to make dining a pleasure. You were excellent. Thank you

My only slight criticism would be with the cheese & bubble and sqeak pie. As it had cabbage inside it it definitely needed serving with a different veg instead of more cabbage . As a vegetarian I love cabbage but I felt this needed something different to compliment the pie . Sweet potato would work great with it .
