- MMelissaWestern Kentucky / SW Indiana •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoAll the food looks amazing on the menu, so you shouldn't have a bad experience with anything that you pick. In our party we got the catfish filets, prime rib, the 2" pork chop(house specialty), kids cheeseburger, and kids grilled cheese. The bread is good! The spinach salad with hot bacon dressing is definitely a side choice you should make! Our entire party got dessert as well. We got all 3 meringue pies on the menu(chocolate, coconut, and lemon). Also got the Mississippi mud pie for one party member. We had a 630 reservation, checked in around 530 and our buzzer buzzed us to be seated just before 6. Our entrees arrived at our table at the 630 reservation time we had. Great service and efficient. Waitress was so nice and she kept the sweet tea filled.More infoPatti's 1880's SettlementPrice: Expensive• American• Grand Rivers•4.8
- CCharlesNashville •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe went to Oaklawn to celebrate our 25th anniversary. It was a perfect event right from the start, from the valet parking, to checking my coat, the hostess and everyone working. The food was wonderful! It’s so nice to have a classy place to go and enjoy a fine dining experience without having to go to the big city. This is a new favorite and we will be back!More infoOaklawn Southern DiningPrice: Expensive• American• Paris•5
- AAyannaLos Angeles •12 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Nov 2024The Mixer offers Southern cuisine with an elevated, sophisticated twist, and it does not disappoint. As a native of Hopkinsville, KY, their bourbon cocktail was a nostalgic delight—it truly felt like a taste of home. The star of the evening, however, was the trout dish. Cooked to perfection, it was topped with a white wine sauce that was simply chef’s kiss. The balance of flavors showcased both creativity and respect for Southern traditions. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort food with a touch of elegance, The Mixer is a must-visit. Highly recommended!More infoThe MixerPrice: Moderate• American• Hopkinsville•4.9
