We are not big sushi eaters but heard such great things about Akira Back we went with our kids and grandkids. After looking over the menu thinking there really wasn’t anything for us, we explained what we like to our server and he patiently explained the entire menu and suggested items for us to try. I have to say this was one of the best meals we’ve eaten in a long time! Everything we tried was outstanding and we kept looking at each other in disbelief at how fabulous it all was! I made notes of what we ordered for the next time we go, because there definitely will be a next time! 10/10 for sure.

Been here many times with no issues. This time my wife and I ordered the lobster roll which comes with chips (like French fries) I asked if I can sub for regular fries and was told yes. My wife asked if she could sub for a vegetable and was told yes which she did. When the bill came the waitress added $4.95 for the fries and $10.95 for the vegetable. Not to mention that they applied an 18% tip.I usually give 25% tip but when they demand an 18% tip that is what they get. They dont trust the customer to tip accordingly.

Honestly, the best restaurant we’ve dined at in Delray Beach. Everything was top notch from the moment we were greeted as we arrived. The appetizers, main courses, and drinks were perfect, and our server Andrew couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful with excellent suggestions. We don’t know how we hadn’t heard of it sooner (we walked by one night and noticed how elegant and inviting it looked — so glad we immediately jumped on OpenTable to book).

So many options to choose from and it’s wonderful there are so many gluten-free choices. My family all enjoyed our dinner here — it was delicious! Carlos was our server and he was helpful with recommendations and he’s fantastic.
