There is no better place to go for breakfast on the weekend The ambience makes it so special on the covered patio. The service is beyond superb. Everyone is always so friendly, welcoming and efficient. The price of the quality food is not much more than the regular greasy breakfast diners in town. It’s not what people expect with a buffet. The eggs Benedict and omelettes are fairly priced. Best orange juice in town as well as refillable coffee. It’s just an amazing well kept secret to dine for breakfast at the Charcoal.

Our overall experience was very good at Sole! We had no concerns about our service or food. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. They were attentive and our food came out hot and on time. We enjoyed the whipped feta with roasted tomatoes as a starter and they were very generous with the flat bread tips for dipping. Delicious! The hamburger was excellent (large smash burger style) and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Sole is definitely on par with other restaurants at this same price point and I would recommend for a causal night out with friends.

Our first experience at the Bauer Kitchen was outstanding. They present an excellent selection of options on the menu and a wine list with reasonably priced options. Service was prompt and friendly. The noise level was a bit higher than we would typically like, but it didn’t prevent conversation. We were also informed that the other side of the restaurant (northwest) was a bit quieter if we found the noise level too much. Also a good beer selection on tap. My new favourite place in Waterloo.
