Restaurants near Midtown Fourth Ward

It was fine and maybe it wasn’t much different than other times we’ve been in. But his time in particular, it was far noisier and the service was less attentive. In the past we rarely had to ask for anything but this time we repeatedly did.

Expected consistent quality food and service. Doug did an amazing job of service tonight and we had a great dinner. The patrons continuing to smoke inside gets a little confusing after a while because you smell so bad when you depart. Tonight my steak was not cooked ordered, which is disappointing when spending this much on a filet, so I wasn’t able to eat it. However, everything else was up to par. The stone crab claws were excellent. The valet speed had also definitely improved lately. Will be back!

Excellent food, ambience and service. My first visit and it was very nice.

Bones was my wife and my first “fancy” date in 1983. We’ve been back many times including this time, our 41st wedding anniversary! We were greeted by their always friendly and professional staff and seated instantly. The table was prepared and waiting for us tastefully decorated with anniversary glitter. The steady stream of attentive staff were always focused on our comfort and experience. After a glass of champagne, our bottle of Bordeaux arrived, perfectly timed and chilled. Fresh bread, sweet butter, lobster bisque, wedge salad, filet mignon and lobster tail…all impeccably prepared and delivered with attention and precision. I can’t say enough about how special each and every person made us feel. Many thanks to the owners and staff for continuing to deliver on your tradition of providing a fine dining experience.

Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Our waiter Andrew was excellent. He made great suggestions and checked on us frequently. The support wait staff also did a great job. The cassoulet, French onion soup and scallops were delicious. The portions are big and enough for an additional meal at home.
