The late Rocco Diorio was responsible for the fine traditional food and many lasting memories for most of the people in the greater Waterbury area. The restaurant was closed in 1980 and reopened in 1991 after total restoration to its original splendor. The legend continues as we remain true to those endearing memories. We have the original marble bar, over-sized mahogany bankers booths, tin ceiling, and the most impressive acid-etched mirrors displaying historical Waterbury. We had a great time at Echo! The prefix menu was awesome. There were 4 courses and each one was better than the previous one. My cheers to the chef! The cost of $65.00/person was well worth it. We were not rushed at all…and the restaurant was to full capacity at all times. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I went for Valentine's Day. The food was outstanding. I had the crusted Chicken. It was moist and very good. The service was top notch. I will definitely go again.
