The George Public House is a Victorian reincarnation of a 15th century coffee house located at the meeting point of the Strand and Fleet Street, directly facing the spectacular architecture of the Royal Courts of Justice and a 10 minute walk from the West End. In the Autumn of 2014, The George underwent an extensive and considerate refurbishment of the ground floor bar and first floor dining room. This saw the creation of an elegant and sophisticated restaurant; The George. The only reason I have marked down the ambiance is we went relatively early so the restaurant wasn’t as busy. Food and service was excellent. Would definitely recommend it 👌

Thank you!! - I booked for friends, who had never visited before - We had an unforgettable dining experience with wonderful suport with menu choices. We started with beautifully presented Sushi and Sashimai followed by a wonderful selection from the Robata. Overall: A truly warm and inviting experience, delivered by an attentive and knowlegeable team-Highlighy recommended!!

What fantastic service. Food did not disappoint but the service was the real star of the evening - upstairs manager (they let us sit upstairs given how packed downstairs was) made the whole evening a treat.
