Just a short stroll from Waverley Station and steps from St. Andrew Square, Gaucho Edinburgh is our first restaurant in Scotland, bringing the finest free-range, grass-fed Aberdeen Angus beef from Argentina to the heart of the city. Along with big, bold Latin flavours, we offer a premium wine list that complements every dish. Step inside this sleek, modern glass building and you’ll be greeted by stylish interiors, featuring textures and tones inspired by the rich landscapes of Argentina. We proudly celebrate Scottish produce, working with Campbell’s Meats, the world-renowned IJ Mellis cheesemonger and Mark Murphy fruit and vegetables. Of course, we have a cocktail using Irn Bru and are pleased to serve Stewart’s Craft Lager, brewed out of Loanhead.

The Black Bull Inn, Moffat is an independently owned, award winning Scottish hostelry, established 1568. The oldest hostelry in the area, the Inn is well known for its links to Robert Burns, Scotland’s National Poet who visited during his heyday. The Black Bull is also connected to another notable character from history – the controversial Earl (Bonnie) of Dundee, who commandeered the Black Bull as HQ in the 17th century and oversaw the persecution of Scottish Presbyterians from within its walls. With olde world ambience and atmosphere oozing out of its walls, the Black Bull is a welcoming, warm and interesting place to visit, with touches of traditional Scotland interwoven with contemporary twists and is everything an ancient Scottish hostelry should be. With great food, excellent wines, superb cask ales and beautifully styled rooms the inn never fails to charm both international and UK patrons and their pooches too.

Wonderful meal for our 45th anniversary. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was absolutely excellent. We've been here a number of times and we find it to be so reliable. Yes, it is expensive, but the quality and experience are top notch every time.

Service was fantastic. The professional welcome and courtesy was exceptional. Food and seating excellent. I understand people wish to take their dogs on holiday, however dogs barking and a dog sitting on a seat at a table did not suit the ambience portrayed. But altogether a fine experience. I will return asap.

This is probably my favourite steak restaurant in Edinburgh due to the fine dining aspect and amazing quality of food. Absolutely stunning meal although I do have a couple of downsides unfortunately this time round! We were sited next to a group with a dog that kept barking, I was more shocked dogs were allowed in under the tables for hygiene, and other guests courtesy. It did ruin the ambience of treating your self’s to a high class experience.. when we came in we usually are greeted upstairs but we stood waiting for a while and travelled downstairs were no one host seemed to be as well. The lovely polish lady serving us was extremely warm and welcoming which was a good touch.
