I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. Benjamin’s is by far our favorite restaurant in Westchester. We done there a few times a month, and always celebrate special occasions there. All of the staff treats you as if you are family. One of the many amazing waiters, Granite has memorized each of our drink and food orders. The food is also amazing and no other steakhouse in Westchester can compare. Always an amazing experience at Benjamin’s.

Chef Scott Fratangelo keeps reinventing himself. A magnificent filet mignon with chestnut purée and oyster mushroom cream sauce with dijon was as superb as anything you would receive in any super high ended restaurant anywhere. Chef Heather’s desserts continue to shine and surprise, of late a sensational eggnog panna cotta and intense warm chocolate tart. Sous Chef Mike is such an asset. Server Javier is the best there is and Francisco has been mixing some mean cocktails. After 11 years, L’Inizio continues to dazzle. Do make sure you try a meal here as you will not be disappointed.
