Absolutely fabulous meal. I am here in Yosemite as a gift to my caretaker. He takes extremely good care to lessen my burden of living where I do (large home in Truckee) and he had never been to Yosemite. Tonight we had a last night special dinner at The Mountain Room. The food was outstanding. Even more, our server was exemplary. I had ordered the prime Sirloin and found it to be rather tough. He had it replaced with the filet and no charge on the upgrade. I've never had such generous service and I tipped him $100. The replacement steak was the best filet I have ever tasted. My caretaker was equally satisfied with his vegan meal (stuffed acorn squash). I have eaten at The mountain Room 3 times over about 30 years of visiting the park. Always great and tonight was one of the best restaurant meals I've had, Darren was why

The ambiance dining room is quite spectacular, finished with a talented pianist playing beautiful melodies. A worthwhile experience. Currently as other reviews mentioned, food is served buffet style while the property is undergoing renovation. The food quality is as good as any higher end buffet is, albeit with a small number of selections. We enjoyed our meal and experience very much, and are looking forward to returning when the renovations are completed

Beautiful food with great flavors and lovely server who showed genuine care. Wish there was a fire or more warm touch - still very pretty.

The June Bug Cafe has great food at a reasonable price in a grown-up camp atmosphere which is fitting, as the whole Yosemite Bug feels like a really cool, funky summer camp in the woods, for all ages. Big portions, well made, fresh meals. We stayed at a different hotel recently and, after a disappointing breakfast at that hotel, drove to the June Bug for a great, satisfying breakfast the next morning.
