- WWolfVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoDined at Bovanova for the first time on a rainy evening. It wasn’t too busy, and Nicole (our server) was wonderful. We shared the pork chops and lamb chops, and both were excellent, having started with fried cauliflower which was served with mayonnaise and very good. Their Brussels sprouts on the plated dish were excellent, so next time we’ll start with those an as appetizer! The holiday ambiance was tastefully done, and we really enjoyed our meal. No dessert that night, as were doing low carbs. 😃More infoBocanovaPrice: Moderate• Latin American• Oakland•4.7

- EelenaVIPLos Angeles •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoVery homey place (where Aunt Mary’s used to be)with warm skillful service. The food is great. We had the family meal for the table ($75 per person). It was fried petrale sole with lots of accompanying side dishes. First course was boiled peanuts in a delicious sauce. Peanuts were soft and yummy. The dessert was amazing. They called it a panna cotta but it was more custardy and topped with a few pomagrant seeds and a tiny amount pomegranate granita. It was very good and we ate it all even though we were very full.More infoBurdellPrice: Very Expensive• Soul food• Oakland•4.5
