Umi Sake House is a unique Japanese cuisine restaurant in the Belltown area of Seattle featuring the highest quality seafood available in the Northwest, a large izakaya-style tapas menu, and boasting a sake list of over 60 imported Japanese bottles.     Best restaurant in Seattle. Food is AMAZING, service is great and a great atmosphere. I have eaten here over 25 times and every time it is so good! Plenty of options to eat from steak to seafood to oysters, shrimp, and delicious pasta dishes. If you want a GREAT meal you need to go here. And their wines are great too!!

    Superb, as usual. The carrot sformato was an unusual find and quite delicious. The addition of olives to the blood orange and fennel salad hit just the right acid note, Mama’s meatballs were pure beef with a strong dash of anise seed, and the accompanying marinara had been simmering for ages to pick up that deep complexity of flavors and great balance between sweet and slightly acid.

    The Brussels sprouts salad was delicious. The pizza crust was perfect. Very tasty too. My husband was very disappointed that he couldn’t get chicken or turkey on the pizza. We don’t eat pork or shellfish (kosher), so they only had vegetarian options. He ended up just getting a cheese pizza which did not make him happy. The drinks were delicious but very expensive.
