- AAnneVirginia •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAs always, CanCan did not disappoint! Our server Liam was friendly and courteous and every bite was delicious! We were a table of 4 ladies for brunch to celebrate 2 birthdays and everyone had a great time. 2 of us got the eggs in pergatory (eggs cooked in tomato sauce with feta cheese) and the other 2 enjoyed the avocado toast topped with lump crab. We shared a carafe of mimosas and creme brulee for dessert, five stars all around! This is a favorite restaurant for our group & we will definitely be coming back soon.More infoCan Can BrasseriePrice: Moderate• French• Richmond•4.6

But let's get to the food. Beyond amazing. I love wedge salads and this one was like none before and was exceptional. We went with our best friends and they got the calamari...which I feared was overly breaded but was simply outstanding with a surprise hint of spicy. We went to a steak place and everyone ordered a filet and they were cooked perfectly. I got the chateaubriand and it could not have been cooked more perfectly. I hate it when they ask you to cut into your steak to make sure it's right....Perry's had it perfect with our choices of medium to medium rare. They clearly know what they're doing. Amazing to get a filet medium rare and it's still hot all the way through. BUT....the service was incredible - friendly but not overly, informative but not over bearing. Navif was knowledgeable, professional and knew the menu like a well trained professional. Oh and the deserts were to die for. If you order the bread pudding you're in for a wonderful surprise.More infoPerry's Steakhouse & Grille – Richmond - Short PumpPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Dumbarton•4.6
- OTOpenTable DinerVirginia •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI had the shrimp Santorini which was fantastic! My dad had the pasta no. 5 and it was HUGE which he was pre-warned it’s bigger than a pasta dish you’d imagine and is easily 3 meals. It’s definitely a louder restaurant but not so loud you can hear the person you are with and the ambiance is very warm and cozy.More infoStella's - RichmondPrice: Moderate• Greek• Richmond•4.9

This was an ideal setting as we were able to watch the sun go down as we ate. Our server, Jacob, was very knowledgeable about the menu items and made great recommendations to us. The service at 1870 is attentive and helpful but not intrusive. We started with cocktails which were perfectly made. Three of us had the filet mignon, cooked perfectly and so tender we barely needed the steak knife. With each entree you are given a choice of sauce or compound butter and a side. We had the roasted carrots, the green beans, the creamed spinach and the potatoes - very generous portions. For our beef, one of us had the au poivre sauce, one the horseradish cream sauce and one the shallot-merlot compound butter - all were delicious. The fourth member of our party had the lobster bisque en croute - not only was it beautifully presented but it was delicious with large lumps of lobster. We finished with the bread pudding - a unique presentation that is almost a cross between bread pudding and french toast. This was a celebration meal and the staff at 1870 made us feel special. We look forward to going back. Midlothian is so very fortunate to have a restaurant of this quality!More info1870 Restaurant and BarPrice: Expensive• American• Midlothian•4.6

The food was very good with great selection of beverages to complement our meal. Our server was very nice and checked in on us but not to a point of being overbearing like some other establishments we have visited. We will definitely visit again likely at another location to check out their scenery.More infoThe Boathouse at Sunday ParkPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Midlothian•4.4
