The word Bagatelle comes from the French and means "a trifle or a little nothing", often referring to a light, fun, yet not too serious spring time romance. The French brought their history of fine cuisine and their love of wine to the Caribbean Islands. It is in this tradition that we have combined our French heritage, southern hospitality and the indigenous tastes of the Florida Keys into the meals we prepare today. Boats would pull up right outside and throw the fish straight in!We’ve changed a little since then, but the most important thing remains the same - guests can still kick back and experience the freshest, locally caught seafood in one hand, a cold beverage in the other, soak in the view, and watch the world go by.

    Have been coming to the Keys for almost 50 years and this is the 1st time my wife & I have tried Latitudes. First a shout out to Alex who was our server. He made our visit very pleasant. The food was awesome from the lobster bisque to the Seared Grouper & Yellowtail Snapper to the Key Lime pie. All those who work for Latitudes were spot on with their responsibilities and made the experience memorable for all the right reasons. Thank you!

    We had a very pleasant meal at Bagatelle. Our salad took quite a while to come out, but our entrees were very timely. My husband ordered the swordfish, and I had the grouper special. The grouper was excellent, although I was surprised at the cost when the bill came. The swordfish was good, but a little on the dry side. Portion sizes were very generous. All in all, a very nice meal in a beautiful location.
