The Westin in downtown LA has a wonderful ambiance from the entrance to the rotating Asian restaurant on the 35th floor. The views and seating from the steak house LA Prime on the 35th floor are out standing. Food was plentiful so much so we did not have room for dessert. They also offered good wines by the glass which is not always the case at other similar style restaurants.

Brought my girl here for her birthday. We live in Lancaster, so it was a big deal for us, but we felt the food was absolutely amazing. I loved the setting. Beautiful view, and I love dark places and relaxing music. The service was top tier. Everything came out very quick. It was perfect, for us, and we plan on going back sooner than later.

This is an amazing steakhouse! Definitely the single best view of LA of any steakhouse in town. The staff is second-to-none, with service to match! I enjoyed a crab cake appetizer, Filet, and truffle mashed potatoes with a glass of Daou "Soul of A Lion" Cabernet Sauvignon. This combination of ambiance, service, and food, however, comes at a pretty penny! I would honestly say budget twice what you normally would at a steakhouse. For very special occasions, though, this is the spot!
