I celebrated my 60th birthday at Jeff Ruby's in Louisville, KY , and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! Every aspect of the evening was exceptional, beginning with the warm and elegant ambiance that set the tone for a truly special celebration. The meal itself was nothing short of perfection. Each dish, from the salad to dessert, was crafted with impeccable attention to detail. My steak was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, while the sides were equally outstanding—every bite felt like a celebration in its own right. The dessert, which capped off the evening, was a masterpiece, both in taste and presentation. A huge shoutout to our server, Darrell, who was the epitome of professionalism and charm. His suggestions were spot on and added so much to our dining experience. From wine pairings to menu recommendations, he guided us with confidence and enthusiasm, ensuring that every choice we made was a winner. His warmth and attentiveness made us feel truly valued, turning an already great evening into something extraordinary.

Excellent food, ambiance, and experience. Ross was an amazing server. He was very personable and knowledgeable and enhanced the experience. The server assistant was kind and helpful. I truly loved everything about this experience. Definitely an amazing dining experience and I cannot wait to come back. Thank you for a great experience!

The famous Hot Brown plate is well worth the trip to this historic hotel. Free valet parking for 2 hours. A must-try, uniquely Louisville experience.

We have heard so many good things about the restaurant so we were excited to try it ourselves and it certainly did not disappoint.

We booked an igloo for 11 people. It was nice in that we had a private space for our family get together but I was expecting the kind that we could see through. Even though we were on the rooftop with a lovely city view, you could not see out from the igloo so was kind of pointless. And door to igloo could only be latched from the outside so you couldn't leave to use the bathroom because then you couldn't latch the door once you returned. And it was too cold to leave the door open and they had one pitiful space heater. However we did enjoy our food and drinks. Server was initially overwhelmed but then food and drinks started coming steadily. We enjoyed all of the appetizers (meatballs, potato wedges, shrimp and artichoke dip). Entree salads were also good. Family had burger sliders and they were tasty. Note: pizzas are quite large. They are definitely shareable. We'll come back in warmer weather to enjoy the rooftop but wouldn't recommend the igloos unless it's a particularly warm night.
