Restaurants near Loon Park

Three years ago, my nephew was in a hospital bed at Children’s Hospital and we had no idea what was going on. To get his mind off his health, I told him how his aunt and I had been to CS and gotten a steak “bigger than his head.” He asked if we could take him if he ever got out of the hospital. I promised him he’d get one of those tomahawk steaks. Well life happens, and they live in Texas, every time they visit we missed the special. We finally got to go tonight. We had great service, great company, and my nephew, who is now 15 and healthy as a horse, had himself a big ol’ tomahawk as big as his head. Thank you, Cypress Social.

It was pretty amazing. Complimentary valet. Beautiful restaurant. Great service. Delicious food. Not terribly expensive. The seating is a little small and close to others, but that’s really the only knock.

The Chief Clay Potter is excellent. We dine there frequently and have never had anything but a great food experience. The menu is varied and there’s something for everyone. The service overall is very good. There are some outstanding servers and as is always the case some are better than others. Lauren and Poppy never disappoint. For west Little Rock it’s the best for the price point without question.

The food was outstanding!! Our server, Dalton, was amazing and very attentive. He was extremely familiar with the menu and made good recommendations for wine. You MUAT order the Wellington Beef Bites. Not to be missed.

It's been about 1.5 years since I've been to Table 28. The food was excellent. The biggest difference was the service. The serve we had last time stuck out as being very inexperienced and unknowledgeable, which should not be expected at a restaurant at this price point. The service was MUCH better this time around. It seems like they've upgraded their staff by adding a few people who previously worked at the capitol. It really shows.
