- JJohn and JenVIPChicago / Illinois •155 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe recently had the pleasure of dining at Raíz in Mexico City, and it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant's tasting menu, priced at $1,700 MXN, offers a delightful journey through contemporary Mexican cuisine. Each of the six courses was a masterpiece, showcasing the chef's creativity and skill. Our meal began with a refreshing Kampachi tiradito, followed by tender corn with a delightful twist. The Enmolada with escamoles was a unique and flavorful dish, and the A la talla fish was cooked to perfection. The beef brisket was tender and rich, and the meal concluded with a seasonal dessert that was both elegant and satisfying. To complement the exquisite dishes, we opted for the wine pairing menu, which cost an additional $1,800 MXN. The selection included fine wines such as Blanc de Castel IGT 2022, The Crystal Ship 2023, PÉT NAT Rosé NV, Altavista Premium Estate 2023, Megacero 2022, and Eiswien 2020. Each wine was thoughtfully chosen to enhance the flavors of the dishes, creating a harmonious dining experience. The ambiance of Raíz is warm and inviting, with a focus on sustainability and high-quality ingredients. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring that every aspect of our meal was enjoyable. Overall, Raíz provides an unforgettable culinary experience that is well worth the visit. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking to indulge in fine dining, Raíz is a must-visit destination in Mexico City.More infoRaízPrice: Very Expensive• Mexican• Polanco/Nueva Anzures•4.7
- JJohn and JenVIPChicago / Illinois •155 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe recently had the pleasure of dining at Parole Polanco in Mexico City, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was inviting and sophisticated, creating the perfect setting for a memorable evening. We started our meal with the Burrata, which was incredibly creamy and fresh. The Steak Tartare was perfectly seasoned and melted in our mouths. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the Lobster Cacio e Pepe – a sublime combination of tender lobster and rich, flavorful sauce. For dessert, we indulged in the Chocolate Molto and Lava Cake, a decadent treat that satisfied our sweet tooth. To complement our meal, we enjoyed a classic Negroni and a glass of Nebbiolo. The finishing touch was a delightful Carajillo, a perfect blend of coffee and liqueur. Overall, Parole Polanco exceeded our expectations with its impeccable service, exquisite cuisine, and elegant atmosphere. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a truly special dining experience in Mexico City.More infoParole PolancoPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Polanco/Nueva Anzures•4.4

And I just need to mention again how amazing the food is…you have to try a tuna flight, short rib gyoza, and a Ryoshi roll!More infoRyoshi - MasarykPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Polanco/Nueva Anzures•4.8

- RrogerCancun / Riviera Maya •7 reviews5.0Dined on 26 Dec 2024The service and the food were five stars. The decor was beautiful and I would have given five stars for ambience, except for the huge flat screen TV’s, which took away from the ambience.More infoBeluga - MasarykPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Polanco/Nueva Anzures•4.7
