Lived up to the hype! Would highly recommend! 10/10

Here's the revised review with a brief mention of the table placement: We recently dined at Anemone to celebrate a special occasion: my husband’s birthday and our first wedding anniversary. Overall, it was a delightful evening with some of the best food we’ve had in a long time. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with incredible flavors. The temakis were so good we ordered them twice, and my husband absolutely loved the gnocchi, calling it one of the best he’s ever had. The ris de veau dish was a standout for me—it was my first time trying it, and I was thoroughly impressed. Everything we ordered was thoughtfully prepared and truly a testament to the kitchen’s skill. The only slight downside was our table placement. We were seated next to a utility closet, which took away from the ambiance at times, but the amazing food and attentive service made up for it. Overall, we had a fantastic evening and will definitely return to enjoy more of Anemone’s incredible dishes.

Honestly one of the best food experiences that I've had in a while. Every dish was prepared with attention to the main ingredient and tasted phenomenal. I will be going back soon.

Lovely experience all around - ambiance, service, drinks, food... but the napa cabbage dish was so amazing it literally, actually, gave me chills on the first bite. I've never had food do that to me before. This is now on my short list of must-visit, must-share restaurants in a city and neighborhood known for amazing food. Thank you thank you, I'll be back.

This is one of the greatest Italian restaurants. The food is fantastic. Most of the servers have worked there for a long time and that tells you everything you need to know. I Iive in Toronto and every time I’m in Montreal I make sure I go to Corneli’s.
