Premier Prime Rib Restaurant of Southeastern Wisconsin. Albert Kopulos and Gigi Falbo opened the Corner House Supper Club on August 14th, 1945. Albert ran the Corner House until his passing on February 11th 2001. At that time his son's John and George continued to run the Corner House for about 17 years. After numerous attempts to purchase the Corner House over a 20 year period, in October 2017 the Kopulos brothers called me and said they were ready to retire. After many months of negotiating we closed the deal on March 28th, 2018. And I am very proud to say I am the new owner of a Racine staple. My intention is very simple: to carry on the tradition of Racine finest and only Supper Club. What started out as a butcher shop concept, has evolved and changed over the years to become a full-service restaurant, which was solidified with the restaurant's move to a larger space in 2022. At Bavette, the consumer will enjoy complete transparency of its food moving from farm to plate. Although the butcher shop has been phased out, the restaurant still works with the same farms, and uses the same high quality meats on its menu, which consists of a daily changing menu consisting of salads, sandwiches, small plates, pates, cheese, and charcuterie boards. The restaurant truly is a farm-to-table restaurant, sourcing not only the meat but most of its produce from nearby farms. In addition to the highly seasonal menu, there is a small store featuring chef-curated retail items, such as Wisconsin cheeses, local charcuterie, artisanal jams, pickles, salts, vinegar, and oil. We were celebrating our anniversary and a birthday. There was a card on our table wishing us a happy anniversary. Our waitress, Kate, was friendly. helpful and knowledgeable. We started with fried calamari, which was prepared perfectly. My husband had the 4-oz filet mignon and I had the starter-size Nantucket scallops and a salad. Everything was beautifully prepared and presented. The view of the lake and the museum completed a perfect celebration event.

The New B&B was great! Shrimp and polenta appetizer was excellent. Bring your own wine for a reasonable cork fee! Great value.

Had the Prime Rib and Lobster. The Prime Rib was excellent. The lobster tail left a lot to be desired. It was not cooked very well and it was mushy creating a very unappealing texture. The service was so, so, with a server change after we were seated, and having to remind server of items that were ordered prior to the server change.
