Restaurants near Lamar Beach

We went for my boyfriends birthday and sat at the bar. The service was wonderful and the bartender was very attentive and informative over the menu. We had a great time and enjoyed everything that we ordered. The bone marrow was favorite of the night! Definitely will be coming back!

Went with a small group for holiday lunch and had a great time. Food was excellent as always, Garrett was a terrific server and the environment was great for our group to celebrate. Thanks again!

I rarely take the time to write reviews but this one really deserves it. We hail from San Francisco so we weren't expecting much from an Italian restaurant in Austin. We were blown away. We ordered the snapper and special pasta (chicken filled ravioli.) The snapper was cooked on their plancha and retained it's moistness. The pasta is on the top five list of pastas I have ever had in my life. I think they must have used smoked chicken from their wood burning grill. We weren't in the mood for beef, but wish we were as everything that was coming off that grill looked over the top good. We were fortunate enough to be sat at the kitchen counter (or they accidentally gave away our table for 2 and had to seat us there) so we had a front row seat to the magic that was coming out of the kitchen. This is kind of a nerdy comment, but the expediter gets an A+. They had a very large party upstairs (like 8 family style dishes at a time) and some how he was able to get all the other food out in a timely manner.

Sitting outside on a lovely day at Nido is a slice of heaven. Great food, wonderful staff. We enjoyed the tuna salad and lamb ragu. Delicious.

Incredible food, great service, and walking distance from many hotels. Our waiter made several recommendations, and he was spot on. Great drinks as well. Open and modern feel.
