Restaurants near Lake Henshaw

We had a great experience on Christmas day. A bit busy so it seemed to take a bit longer than I thought. But they let us know our food was coming soon. Appetizers made it pretty fast. It was worth the wait for the main entree though. The signature dish was excellent.

This is a great place to have a great meal at the Zoo Safari. And bonus you get to see all the animals roaming!

Our server, Brook, is one of the best I’ve ever seen. She was friendly, efficient and attentive. The table beside us were a bit much but she rose above their poor behavior and cheerfully accommodated them. The food was excellent. Good beer & cocktails. Beautiful outdoor seating with plenty of heat lamps.

🎂🌺🙃💋our first visit Now we want to find more excuses to drive to San Diego! Chris, the manager stopped to chat and made us feel like family. Luciano, our waiter, treated us like royalty. We chose the prix fixe menu and were amazed. The filet was tasty and cooked perfectly. The wine sauce was delicious- as everything else we ordered. We even got to meet our chef Nick and couldn’t stop telling him how much we enjoyed everything. Please thank everyone again for us!

Wonderful gem I’d definitely recommend trying out.
