My second time ordering and it never disappoints. crab Maison - comforting and delish, can’t go wrong Shrimp chirrata - delicious but spicy be warned Fried boudin and corn grits - just do it, so savory and good. Everyone was dressed beautifully, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. We will eat here many more times and especially during Christmas.More infoDomenicaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Central Business District•4.5
- BBonnieNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Dec 2024My husband and I came to the restaurant to pay homage to the great Chess Master, Paul Morphy, and the restaurant was a way to visit the place. The house belonged to the prominent Morphy family and they have a small room dedicated to him with a chess board and a photo of the great Chess Master. Brennan's is THE place to have brunch! They are justly famous for the quality of the food. AMAZING: Blueberry Cornmeal Cake, Seafood Gumbo, Eggs Sardou, Eggs Hussarde, all the sides and try the New Orleans Style Coffee.More infoBrennan'sPrice: Expensive• Creole• French Quarter•4.7
- JJeffNew Orleans / Louisiana •3 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Dec 2024As always Antoine's was excellent. Antoine's is the #1 fine dining experience available anywhere in New Orleans, and it has never disappointed. My wife and I have been coming here for 27 years and have enjoyed each visit. The staff was professional, courteous, and easy to summon if we had a request for something. They have a pride in their establishment that comes across in their dealings with customers. Very few restaurants, even in New Orleans, can say that any longer. Russell and Roland were both consummate professionals and took exceptionally good care of us. And it was great to see Charles Carter again. Charles waited on us on our first visit 27 years ago and many times since, and has always made sure we're taken care of. The Reveillon menu dishes were prepared perfectly and were delicious as always. I was pleasantly surprised to see a NY Strip as a choice for the main course and both my wife and I received our steaks cooked perfectly. We even had a special request for dessert and it was handled with no problems. If you're coming to New Orleans, Antoine's is a must. How many restaurants can say they have been in business with the same family since 1840? I hope to still be around to enjoy a visit in their 200th anniversary year in 2040.More infoAntoine'sPrice: Expensive• Creole• French Quarter•4.6
- JJanineNew Orleans / Louisiana •5 reviews5.0Dined on 23 Dec 2024Food and service were exceptional. We had the ceviche’ and lobster ravioli appetizers then ordered Hallibut with scallops and shrimp risotto — the signature dish — and the Parmesan-crusted sheepshead with lemon butter and browned capers served either asparagus as our main courses. Everything was perfectly prepared! We ordered 3 desserts to top it all off: the salty malty ice cream pie, the white chocolate bread pudding and the chocolate mouse in a dark chocolate dome with raspberry gelee’. Perfect evening. Except for learning at the end of the night that our parking would not be validated. We were not told to bring the parking ticket to the front desk at the beginning of the night. If you go to GW Finn’s and expect to get parking validated, do not pay the garage when you park (despite the fact that all of the signs in the garage and the boots on cars are somewhat threatening in there). Instead, take your unpaid parking garage ticket directly to the front desk at the restaurant for validation with a picture of your license plate. This was the only sour note of our evening. Otherwise, it was perfect!More infoGW FinsPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• French Quarter•4.9
