A Family Tradition For Over 90 YearsMrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant first opened in 1934 with Mrs. Knott and her children serving the first customers in their tea room. The restaurant has grown over the years into one of the largest in California, but the classic fried chicken dinner is still made the same way today using Mrs. Knott's recipes. Every complete chicken dinner includes handmade biscuits, side salad, choice of cabbage or cherry rhubarb, three pieces of fried chicken, and mashed potatoes smothered in gravy. For dessert: your choice of boysenberry pie or boysenberry sherbet. Many other dishes are also available including grilled chicken, salads, and a number of appetizers. A full-service bar, serving signature boysenberry-infused cocktails, is also available.Currently, we are following all government-issued regulations and seating is currently outside only.     We recently celebrated my son’s 21st birthday at Claim Jumper and had an exceptional experience. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Our server, Natalia, was outstanding—her attentiveness and friendly demeanor made our evening even more special. The food was fantastic, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for our celebration. We truly appreciated the excellent service and will most definitely be returning! Let me know if you’d like any adjustments!

    We love going to Black Angus in Buena Park. The booths have high sides, so things are quiet from any other group. The service is friendly and they keep my water glass full. The food was lovely, just right temp and amount of cooking.

    I did not have high expectations for this restaurant, thinking it would be poor quality tourist food; however was very pleasantly surprised. The price was very reasonable for hot and fresh biscuits with butter and jam, salad starter, another side (I had the rhubarb), main meal and a dessert. Our food was very hot and service was good. We had 3 boxes of leftovers for two adults and a child, which highlights the large portions of food. I would happily come here again.
