A really nice restaurant. Lovely inside. It was very busy which was good to see. Obviously popular. First time visit and I’d love to go back. The food was really good. Great choice. The prices were great. HUGE wine choice. The staff were good. Can’t fault anything. Definitely worth a visit.

All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful and gave good suggestions. Particularly Tom with the dessert suggestion of the fruit crumble sundae! Food was excellent quality - three of us had the roast, and one had fish and chips. It was relatively quiet as we had an early meal. Facilities were clean, and we all came away feeling we'd had a nice, happy evening out, and we would be happy to return the next time we visit the area.

Great restaurant serving terrific food. Started with monkfish cheeks and followed up with a lamb roast dinner. A very generous portion and along with roasts and vegetables all cooked perfectly. Highly recommend. Good choice of wines but all expensive. £30 for what was a basic red the cheapest available.

We had a lovely meal and experience with one notable exception. Each of the 4 people who ordered the Pork main course were disappointed with their meal. We had expected a roast pork meal. The offering was altogether too firm and the plate entirely brown. This was a big disappointment to half of our party. The other half of the party were entirely happy.

Another visit to our favourite restaurant, where the quality of the whole package never fails to please. We generally use Bouchon for special occasions and if you can get a table upstairs overlooking the abbey the experience is even better. Excellent food, professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff who are overseen by the owner/manager all enhance a great night out.
