" Dry-aged Japanese beef served by「Steak House Pound Shijo Kawaramachi」is maintained thoroughly by caring about temperature, humidity, and wind. Excellent meal by Chef Dan. The course was the perfect size with excellent food choices. It is not super traditional if you are looking for that. It was more lively and relaxed. The room was tidy but lacked a high end ambience if that is what you are looking for. We were lucky enough to have another party book the Geisha experience with dinner. She danced, sang, and played games with us. Overall, a high point for us in Kyoto and an experience we will remember!

Amazing experience with very talented and skilled chef. The food presentation was artistic and the taste and flavor was equally unique. The chef and his assistant were very kind and attentive and used translation app to communicate with us. We found the entire experience to be one we would not have wanted to miss.
