Celebrated a special evening and ordered from the prix fixe menu. Both of us had the Kung Pao Calamari - it was delicious. The sauce was excellent and the calamari was tender. My spouse had the Lake Superior White Fish and said it was very good - but would have preferred it with the Kung Pao sauce instead of the plated sauce. My spouse is Asian and has a preference for spicy flavors. I had the New York Steak and found it flavorful. We both took the carrot cake home - as the meal was more than filling and enjoyable. The server and table staff were attentive and not disruptive - which we appreciated. The meal, service, and ambiance were as enjoyable as ever. We'll definitely continue going to Spencer's.

The service, food and ambiance of Kitchen in the Desert was incredible. The drinks were interesting, the Jerk Chicken was the most authentic I’ve since I was last at The Old Donkey Cart in the hills just above Scarborough, Tobago. We had a number of vegetarians and one vegan in our party and they were blown away by the variety and quality of the dishes. We ordered seven small plates plus a side of delicious plantains, plus dessert, and left completely sated. Best restaurant experience we had here on our seven day family holiday. Highly recommend to anyone who wants more than the typical bar and barbecue food found in this area.

Really pleased with our experience - great food, fun atmosphere, attentive service. Had a wonderful time and would definitely return when we are in the area again (traveled from the East Coast and this restaurant was one of the reasons for the trip!).
