- KKarishmaPhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWas great way to celebrate the new year. Food is very reasonably priced, and is served family style. Great portions. The cool on the sea bass was amazing, it melted like butter and the veg complimented it well. The plum sake was a favorite of the alcohol, and the sunrise was the favorite of the mock-tails, best served with a splash of sparkling water. Overall was a great experience and will be returning especially to have ray as our server. He was fantastic.More infoBuddakan - PhiladelphiaPrice: Expensive• Asian• Old City•4.7

The service from everyone start to finish was top notch. I really liked the feel and look of this establishment, it’s inviting and warm. The music selection was complimentary. The crowd is a nice mix of people. Clean, spacious restrooms too! I LOVED everything! Can’t wait to go backMore infoThe LovePrice: Expensive• American• Rittenhouse Square•4.8
- CCherylPhiladelphia County •40 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoEvery single course was unique and delicious! Recommendation by our server ,Sean, on how to order was spot on. He also suggested the winter Negroni drink and it was fantastic! We started with the salted beets and the hiromasa crudo both were fresh and light. We had the skate cheeks, the texture of the fish was flaky and had a bit of crunch on top. The ricotta dumplings had my mouth watering from the smell as I broke open the first dumpling. It had the perfect amount of heat and a slight smokiness that was so freaking good you want to lick the bowl. Hubby ordered the veal osso buco and raved about it. I had the orata and it was flaky and delicious. Most places that excel at the main food are not so terrific with desserts but at Bastia both the panna cota and the basque cheesecake had unique flavors that were a perfect ending. Service was incredible and allowed us to have conversation but never missed a beat on clearing and presenting the next course. We’ve been to a lot of really good restaurants but Bastia is top 3 of them all. There are a lot of excellent restaurants in Philadelphia and we will choose to return to Bastia.More infoBastiaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Fishtown•4.8
- JJennfierPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined on 12 Oct 2024The food was exceptional! Small plates but each morsel was outstanding. And so many different courses! The hosts managed to collect our attention between plates to chat about their concepts. But that was a struggle because the company was eclectic and engaging. The ambiance was stark plan walls, dishes and table, forcing us to talk between bites. And our conversation was so fun - with complete strangers! Do not get me started on the delicious drinks! I could have had a whole lot more of those! Luckily we went home with a cookbook. I will attempt one of the dishes just because the memory of the food is so strong (and so good). Thank you I loved it=, and look forward to doing it again - soon!More infoCitrinePrice: Moderate• American• Philadelphia•5
