We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with nothing but kindness and a high level of professionalism. We appreciated the owner walking around making sure everyone was enjoying their experience at the restaurant. This has been by far the best experience we’ve had eating out. Their food was superb, the drinks were perfection, the dessert was the cherry on top. We will be visiting again soon.

Steak tips were tender enough to cut with a butter knife ; fried pickles were crisp & juicy without being oily & fish tacos were delicious. Drink menu was extensive with a few unique offerings. Will definitely return for another visit.

Christmas Eve dinner. Festive, lively atmosphere without being too loud for easy conversation. Service was excellent, beginning with the accommodation of a late addition guest. Staff was there for every need and question yet never made us feel rushed—even though our meal went past closing. I expected great food and was not disappointed. Oysters were particularly good and French-pressed coffee always adds a great finishing touch. My teenagers had a great time and have a new appreciation for real food. Highly recommend.

We celebrate Christmas Eve with the Capital Grille every year. It’s been 10 + years and we have never been disappointed. Chris and his team are fantastic. This year Matt was our server and he was knowledgeable, warm and personable. They are a staple in Providence and I highly recommend to visit anytime for a truly special meal & experience.

Overall very good . A few details .Blood orange Cosmo in the bar was sour. I think proportions were off. Bartender was very upbeat and pleasant. Overall meal was very good but one guest thought the Carbonara was fine but not the best. Barrata was excellent. Pizzetta was very good but too large for an appetizer. I would note that on the menu. One guest enjoyed the feast of the seven fishes. Veal tenderloin was a probably medium as requested. I should have ordered medium rare. Pork chop was very good . Our waitress Gabrielle was excellent , personable and just the right approach for a Christmas Eve celebration.
